Interviews with Street Soccer USA Founder & CEO Lawrence Cann

This Media & Photo Call will immediately precede the culmination of Street Soccer USA’s 2nd Annual National Cup Philadelphia and “Rally for Sports in the Community”.  Following the selection and announcement of Team USA for the Homeless World Cup by Hope Solo, Street Soccer USA will honor Muhammad Ali with its Sport for Social Change Award. Ali’s family will be  present to receive the award on his behalf. Councilman Mark Squilla will assist in the presentation. The Rally will also feature players from the Philadelphia Union and 67 youth teams from low-income neighborhoods across the Philadelphia region. In addition to the on-stage ceremony, the Rally for Sports in the Community will include games, activities and giveaways, food, music and championship street soccer matches. Attendance is free and all are encouraged to attend.
