EBAYC Rally Day – On July 12th, as the EBAYC summer camps came a close, youth “Camp Leaders” from 5 EBAYC schools celebrated with chants, cheers, and a Street Soccer activity. The forty plus youth leaders rotated through a few Street Soccer activities, making new friends from different schools all while sharing an enjoyment of soccer. The day ended with a big “Street Soccer USA” cheer and soccer handshakes all around.
ECUC Olympic Day – Video – On June 23rd youth from across the ECUC 21st CCLC came together to celebrate the start of their summer programs with a day of various athletic activities, hands on learning stations, and a Street Soccer tournament. This event, which the collaborative calls their annual “Olympic Day” is one of the few chances the 5 schools have each year to come together for a single event. Street Soccer USA was thrilled to contribute to the event by hosting a mini Street Soccer tournament. As a special guest Saalih Muhammed, midfielder on the SF Deltas a SSUSA Bay Area partner and SF professional soccer team, attended the event and awarded medals to youth who participated in tournament. Saalih and the Deltas also presented 25 tickets for SSUSA youth & families to attend Deltas home game on 7/2.
