We are happy to announce an exciting addition to our IPLAYFOR league. The Tenderloin Street Soccer Club is a new program of Street Soccer USA comprised mostly of players who have recently immigrated to the US from Yemen. As first-generation Americans, they have formed a tight-knit group at the Tenderloin Recreation Center where we have installed a new street soccer pitch and begun trainings in our street skills curriculum.
The opportunity for the team to test the skills they have been working on in practice in league play will undoubtedly be beneficial in their developmental process both on the field and in their daily lives. This will serve them well as they further integrate and assimilate into American society. As you all know, at I PLAY FOR SF we are playing for bigger goals
