Moustapha joined the Street Soccer USA Tenderloin Community Club in San Francisco in Spring 2017 after emigrating from Guinea. After he started playing, his positive attitude and soccer skills became known to the community.
Street Soccer USA recognized that he would make a great coach due to his patient, warm and open demeanor, and he was hired as a coach for the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy. He has traveled to Russia to participate in the FIFA Foundation Festival and Mexico to represent the SSUSA National Team at the Homeless World Cup.
His hard work on and off the field, including his dedication to language and school, led him to be accepted to UC Berkley, starting this fall.
